The craft

Nineteen steps from raw earth to fine powder.

Dentart™ starts as bentonite and becomes calcined bentonite through a proprietary Korean process built on core production technology in use since 1999.

Four defining stages

The stages that refine the mineral.

The full process has 19 steps. These four explain how the raw mineral is refined for a fine, dispersible texture.

1

Nano-micronization

Raw bentonite is milled to an ultra-fine particle size — fine enough to reach where a paste cannot.

2

Ionic blending

The mineral is blended to strengthen the negative surface charge that makes the clay adsorbent.

3

Molecular surface processing

Each particle's surface is treated to maximize its contact area and cleansing behavior.

4

Low-temperature far-infrared activation

A slow, low-heat activation completes the conversion, giving bentonite its calcined form.
